Smoking kills thousands each year and certain groups are most impacted and disproportionately affected by tobacco use. Michael Scott, Program Manager at the National African American Tobacco Prevention Network (NAATPN), talks about tobacco control through a health equity and social justice lens. During this webinar, tobacco industry targeting and flavored tobacco products (with a focus on menthol) are discussed to show the implications of these and what can be done for minorities and other disadvantaged populations.
