NACCHO Webinar: Family Smoking Prevention and Tobacco Control Act Implementation Update

In June 2009, President Obama signed into law the Family Smoking Prevention and Tobacco Control Act. Over two years later, provisions of this law are still going into effect and there remain many questions and legal battles over the implementation of different parts of the Act. Join legal experts from the Tobacco Control Legal Consortium and staff from the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids as they share the latest happenings related to policy, regulation and implementation of the Act. Presenters will highlight the important role public health professionals can play in encouraging the FDA to adopt strong regulations.
